Please click on image to ENLARGE view of runoff from development site in Fayetteville, Arkansas, where contractors have replaced the absorbent, rich, black prairie soil with yellow and red dirt that runs off rapidly after each rain. The receiving stream is the Town Branch of the West Fork of the White River, which is a tributary of the White River and Beaver Lake, northwest Arkansas' main source of water.
